Proper Adjustment and Placement

To ensure maximum protection, follow these steps when placing and adjusting Proteckthor correctly:

  1. 1Make sure the product is clean and dry before use.
  2. 2Place the band around the head, covering the upper part of the forehead.
  3. 3Make sure the Proteckthor logo is in the correct position: with the letters readable and facing forward.
  4. 4Adjust the band so that it is firm but comfortable, avoiding discomfort or excessive pressure.
  5. 5Before starting any activity, verify that Proteckthor is properly positioned and has not moved.

Care and Maintenance

To extend the lifespan and maintain the effectiveness of Proteckthor, follow these recommendations:

Cleaning

  • •Hand wash with cold water and neutral soap.
  • •Do not use harsh chemicals or fabric softeners.

Drying

  • •Let it air dry in a cool, dry place.
  • •Do not use a dryer or apply direct heat.

Storage

  • •Store it in a dry place, away from heat sources and humidity.
  • •Keep it in its cover, protected from light.

Inspection

  • •Before each use, check it for signs of wear, tears or deformation.

When to Replace Proteckthor

⚠️ Proteckthor should be replaced if:

  • •It has received a strong impact.
  • •It shows visible signs of wear, tears or deformation.
  • •Prolonged use and exposure to external factors can reduce the effectiveness of the protective material.

Usage Limitations

⚠️ Important: Proteckthor is designed to reduce impact force, but does not completely eliminate the risk of injury.

  • •It does not prevent concussions or severe head or neck injuries.
  • •It does not substitute medical judgment or safety standards recommended in sports.
  • •It should not be modified or combined with accessories that alter its original structure.

Safety Warnings

⚠️ If you suffer a strong impact while using Proteckthor: Stop playing and seek medical attention if you experience dizziness, headache, confusion or memory loss.

⚠️ Do not reuse Proteckthor after a strong impact without having it inspected by a professional or replacing it if it shows visible damage.

⚠️ Do not machine wash, expose to sun for long periods or apply direct heat, as this may affect the integrity of the material.

Regulatory Compliance and Certifications

Waiver and Release Agreement

With respect to the use of any Proteckthor product, I, the purchaser and user of Proteckthor products (hereinafter, "You"), declare that I am over eighteen (18) years of age and that I have read and fully understood the WARNING, acting accordingly. Furthermore, you hereby agree to the fullest extent permitted by law to the following: You acknowledge and agree that the performance and level of protection of Proteckthor products does not guarantee, either implicitly or expressly, that they can protect against any type of impact or contact. You understand that sports practice involves risks, including dangers that can cause serious injury or even death, and therefore, you voluntarily assume and accept all risks associated with their use. You waive any present or future claims against Proteckthor, its partners, affiliates and representatives. You release Proteckthor from all liability for any loss, damage, injury or expense that you may suffer, or that your heirs may suffer, as a result of the use of Proteckthor products, whatever the cause, including negligence and/or breach of contract related to the manufacture, installation, performance, use or adjustment of any Proteckthor product. In the event that any provision of this agreement is declared invalid, unenforceable or illegal, such invalidity shall not affect the rest of the provisions, and this agreement shall be interpreted as if such provision had never been included.
